Jim is the youngest dog in our family. I fell in love with his sire and dam. These lines were relatively new for Finland so we just had to have this puppy. We went to get Jim from Netherlands as soon as he was 8 weeks old. We were sold in a glance when we saw him. He was so brisk and lively. And it was our puppy that dived straight into my arms. Jim was taken outside for the first time that day and he took over the whole big yard right away. He went to the tunnel, climbed to the see-saw and ran around the yard. The travelling with a train, being in a hotel and flying itself was a piece of cake for him.

Jim has a wonderful personality. He loves people and is okay with other dogs. He has had a little instinct for herding our children and he uses eye a little but overall he keeps his cool. His motto could be: that's life.  He loves running. He could spend hours outside in our garden. He plays with childrens toys, runs and bustles. It is so much fun to follow his actions. He's also always willing to play football. He figgered out himself that he can go and stay at the goal and act as a goalkeeper when our son kicks the ball. These days he often runs straight to the goal when he sees our son arriving to the yard.

From the very beginning Jim has been very convincing about that he is going to be a great obedience dog. He works in a calm state of mind and thinks before acts. When he knows what to do the speed follows. I have gained a new interest in obedience when I started working with Jim. I still don't have any particular ambition in obedience. It would be great to achieve the championship but there is no hurry. At the moment we are building the foundation.

We have done some foundation work in agility with Jim since he was a puppy. He is supposed to be Kari's agility-dog, but I have done some agility with him too since it is so much fun. It is fun overall to work with jim. He learns so fast and tries so hard.

We have started Jim on sheep and he has shown a keen interest in sheep. He has potential to become a good herding dog.

Jim is a very beautiful male. He has a long body with nice smooth hair. He is one awesome, human-centric dog. He is even more enthusiastic for human attention than our Lotto. He can climb to your arms and he nips you gently trying to get your attention. He wants to be where everyone else is. He is our darling boy.
